Here's a photo that has puzzled me for years. Never published, from an event at a fancy prep school in Florida, long ago. I want to think that the two kids on the left were going for "ghosts," but then again the kid on the far right seemed to get it. Interestingly, this was not on Halloween, nor was it "career day." From the film files.. if there's one thing I always love doing, it's being extravagant with other people's money. Here, for the Palm Beach Post, to illustrate a story about how it's possible to cook food on the engine of your car. I had the hood of a rental car removed by some friends at a local garage, and then mounted a turkey on it, along with a camera and three flashes and a helluva lot of duct tape. I hid on the floor of the passenger side while my second wife's best friend drove up and down the main drag of West Palm Beach and I tried every exposure combination I could think of.
