About the only real problem I had was that just about all my energy went away in the few days afterward, so that I barely had enough strength to go up and down stairs. Edna took great care of me, though, and with her help I gradually began to regain my energy. By about 13 days afterward I was driving again and moving around pretty well during the days, though I still take a couple naps to get me through.

One other interesting effect was that my taste buds were affected. Some foods were fine to me, but others were unpleasant and even weirder a few only had texture and no taste. Even water tasted strange for a few days. That only lasted about 4–5 days, though my nurses tell me that it will reoccur each time I have a session.

There is some good information about the chemotherapy drugs and the process at www.chemocare.com. And there is also some very good information on lymphoma at the National Cancer Institute.
